You will, NO doubt, be aware of the challenges facing all schools at the moment because of the budget cut backs. Therefore, to coin a very well known phrase, “EVERY LITTLE HELPS.”
We registered with easyfundriasing.org last year and are beginning to see the benefits. We currently have 53 ‘supporters,’ who, just by purchasing items online and ‘supporting our cause,’ have raised £90 for the school, at no extra cost to them. If we were to increase our number of supporters, then there is a huge potential to raise a lot more money for the school. There are over 3,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva and Sainsbury's – it doesn't cost you a penny extra!
Each child is school will get an information sheet along with 10 ‘promotion’ cards (also downloadable from this article). We would ask that you trim these and give them out to any family and friends – the more supporters, the more money raised!
To REGISTER: It's as easy as 1, 2, 3...
1. Head to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/waringstownprimaryschool/ and join for free.
2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.
3. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!
