On Thursday 5th March the hockey ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams played Maralin in the league. Maralin are notoriously difficult to play because they always put out a strong team.

Both teams wereevenly matched and it was Maralin who scored first. Waringstown fought back and equalised with a superb goal from Leah Heaney.  Our girls worked relentlessly and were rewarded with a draw.

The ‘B’ team were up next. Within the first few minutes Laura Cregan scored a magnificent goal, giving the team momentum. Laura was to get her second goal and Lucy Lyttle got the third making it a very convincing win. Congratulations to all the girls who played.
