All year   Monday 3.00 – 3.55 pm

The Senior Choir is comprised of 9 - 11 year old pupils (Primary 5 -7). The choir is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. Auditions take place in September and at the beginning of each new term.

The choir is no stranger to high level media performance having participated in  'Excellence at Work' – Television Broadcast; A Christmas Carol - BBC Northern Ireland and Ulster School Choir of the Year winning the Regional Heat on three occasions followed by the coveted title of UTV Primary School Choir of the Year in 1998.  Other musical highlights include performing in Musical Concerts in St Mark's Church, Portadown and St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh for Northern Ireland charities.

Senior Choir Hit All the Right Notes!

The senior Choir were honoured to visit the switching on of the village Christmas lights. The ceremony took place in the grounds of Waring House, at the kind invitation of Mr & Mrs Harnett. The children sang three pieces:

Rainbow Christmas

Away in a Manger

Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer! (Mrs Erskine and Mr McCambley were rather amazed at the children’s gusto rendition of this last piece. Sorry all grandmothers!

We were so pleased to see a huge representation of our parents mingling freely in the grounds of Waring House with an estimated congregation of 350!

The carols were interspersed with readings. The prayers were offered up by our Chairperson, the Rev Canon Bryan Martin.

We love see the school linked with the Church of Ireland and Waringstown Presbyterian Church communities who organised the event under the direction of Rev B Sanderson.

Thankfully the weather stayed dry and the children enjoyed a sweet treat too which was most welcome.

Choir finishes with a lolly!!

The Senior Choir finished today with an extended Lunch and lolly on the MUGA today After Lunch.

The Choir performed last night in Emmanuel Church, Lurgan last night at a concert to raise funds for Charlene Barr's Hidden Treasures School.
