London 2018 - Day 3 - Message for P7

For those P7s that didn't come on the Trip:

Hello from London to the P7s back at school!

We are now on Day 3 in London and have been very busy visiting the sights around the city. Everyone is having a great time and enjoying their experience in London however we are missing you all.

Hopefully you are able to watch the blog and we look forward to sharing all our experiences with you when we get home.

London 2018 - Day 2 is over

Update from Mr McC @ 22:38pm

It can’t really be that day two has actually gone but reality strikes as we step out of the Lyceum Theatre onto The Strand. The children enjoyed a superb performance of ‘The Lion King’ and are now safely enroute back to the hotel. There won’t be any phone calls tonight as everyone is shattered. The Palace of Westminster held its endless appeal to the children this morning as we toured both houses and the royal robing room and gallery. The Wembley Stadium visit was perfectly timed with of course the obligatory visit to the shop. Everyone is well if a little tired tonight. Another action packed day beckons so more photos and podcasts anon. Keep the comments flowing through the Blog as this is a tremendous support to the children. Perhaps a few more breakfast and early morning calls in the morning so keep mobiles at the ready. Good night from all the Londoners!

London 2018 - Day 2 - Wembley 2nd set of pictures

So Wembley was a wonderful experience for all ... the girls loved the tour just as much as the boys!

A few pictures to enjoy, look out for the one of Mr Mitchell possibly picking his future spot in the dressing room and another with him holding a piece of silverware for a change!!!!!!

Update 2/5 1pm: Some extra pics added to this set:

London 2018 - Day 2 - Houses of Parliament

And we’re off. Everyone slept really well and we’ve started the day with a sterling breakfast. We’ll try and make some calls today when we’re on the bus. Be assured everyone is in very good form apart from the staff who urgently need more sleep!

Some pictures in from the Houses of Parliament:

London 2018 - Day 2 - Breakfast

Update 9:50am:

Good morning from London!

Everyone slept soundly after a busy day in Windsor yesterday. All are up and have consumed a hearty breakfast in anticipation of today's activities. We are currently on our way to the Houses of Parliament. The weather is being very kind to us as we travel in the sunshine and mild temperature.

Keep watching the blog to catch up with today's activities.

London 2018 - Day 1 - Floodlit Tour

Just a few pictures in tonight taken from the tour:

Update 11:17pm:

Update from Mr McCambley at 11:41pm:

Day 1 is over!

The children have had a wonderful first day in a rather chilly London. The castle in Windsor was busy as ever and we sensed an air of anticipation as the preparations were well underway for Prince Harry’s wedding.

The hotel were superb this evening; having all of our rooms ready for us upon arrival.

George, our driver, took us straight out for a floodlit tour of London. Many photos were taken of the landmarks and we’re finally back to the hotel for a well-deserved sleep. No phone calls tonight as everyone is shattered! Be assured the children are all in good form.

Sincere thanks to Mr Egerton for his behind the scenes work on the school website and the London Blog. The children have enjoyed hearing your personal messages tonight as we were out for the tour of the city. Keep them coming please!

Thank you too to Mrs Fitzpatrick who has co-ordinated and booked every aspect of the London Trip once again. AMAZING and never taken for granted!
